It is getting close!
My 2021 M240i is due to arrive in Port Hueneme on the 27th. Hopefully the car will be ready to be picked up on the first week of December.
Had anyone use the USAA/BMW cash incentives for their new BMW? For me there is a $2,000 cash rebate for the 2 series/excluding the M2. |

My ship hit Brunswick today but the dealer told me 10 days. 2-3 at the port in processing, 2 days to Huntsville and a couple of days at the dealer removing shipping stuff. All this depends on how many cars are ahead of mine and of course Thanksgiving impacts.
FWIW I started out with 1350 off back in August, revisited in early November and got 4350 locked in but December may have better #'s. Which ship is yours on? Last edited by jzeiler4; 11-18-2020 at 12:23 PM.. |

My car is on the Taurus Leader. As of now it is going through the Panama Canal. The ship track forecast is to reach Port Hueneme on the 27th.
My locked in price was $43k before tax, license, and doc fees. That quote is for financing the car(in order to get the 1k discount). I was going to pay it off after a few months. But with the USAA 2k incentive I will just forgo the 1k discount and use the 2k incentive instead. Can't combine the USAA 2k and the 1k discount as the USAA 2k discount only applies to cars that are not financed. So I will end up with $42k for the car. |

Wow. What was the build specific MSRP that you had? Mine was 59,320 (includes the 995 fee) for the xDrive vert and all the options I specified.

Mine was the coupe with manual transmission and the premium package. I believe the msrp was $49,500 Did not want adaptive lighting(not that functionally effective plus very expensive if it breaks). No wireless phone charger( will need to use my phone as my gps as I have an Android phone/no Android auto at this time so will not need wireless charging) No parking assistant needed for me. No Harmon Kardon as I am going to do my own sound system. |

That's what I thought. I think I still got a good deal and this is probably my last new car so I loaded it up (skipped the wireless charging and parking assistant though). This one should last me until I can't drive anymore (pushin' 70).

I started this in late July but no allocation was available for what I wanted. They finally got an allocation in on August 21st and I placed the order on the 24th. The allocation was for a week 42 build and it was built on the 15th of October (mid week 42). I got the production number about 28 September and the VIN was assigned on 2 October. The car left the factory headed to the port on 22 October and was on the ship the 28th.
