Hi everyone.

'16 M235i with pre-LCI tail lights - yuck.

Wondering if I should get the Blackline version of the LCI tail lights or the regular ones. My car is white, so I'm thinking the Blackline would look too dark on it.

Any thoughts?

I got blacklines. They cost a lot more. When I park next to another 2 with the same lci headlights (non blackline) there isnt much difference IMO. So extra price was kind of a wash in my brain. I spent too much and most people wont notice. And when i notice I think "why did I pay so much more".

So I guess my advice is if you're a fanatic or car geek pay for them. If not, might not be worth the cash.

Not sure which way I would go either... probably non-blackline on white. They do look good on a darker colour car tho.

From where I purchase them, they're actually the same price.

I tend to agree that non-blackline look better on white. I think I'll go for those!

I got the euro ones with amber turn signals. Non-blackline was less. Cant remember how much but enough to make me go "hmmmmm what am I doing" lol

You can barely tell the difference between them lol. Go with the cheaper option

samsamdar Thank you for the great pictures. In my eyes, the difference is noteable, however I think the Blackline version suits darker colors better than lighter colors, hence why I went with the regular version for my white M235i.

Note that they cost the same.
