Man I’ll try I’m thinking that whoever I bought it from sprayed a matte one gloss I’ve never seen this before.

You need to know if they are the OEM or cheap reproductions. You have to remove them from the car. Buy a quart of lacquer thinner and a roast pan. Just clean with a paint brush and the paint will go away.

That could be the most economical, if you can get it out without breaking the clips. Paint them both to match.

Did you look/search? MaxSpray & Eastwood have one for $25-30.
You could buy some inexpensive aftermarket grilles as an option.
