After driving the 3 series..all of them to the current 2013 models all i can say is that the 1 series feels like am amazing bargain compared to any 3 series including the M3 from any year. It just has attitude and a hyper attitude that only the E46 had when pressing it to 8000 rpms....my old 1 series had that at 2000 rpms and at the moment a 2008-2010 N4 used is one of the BEST buy's on the market right now...and some of us feel it's a good looking "funky" car with soul....

Reread my post my man--I was saying that I liked the quirky nature of the E82 styling. It makes it memorable. I just have never been a fan of the headlights. Other than that, it's a cracking car, as evidenced by the fact that I have had 2 of them
