Yeah they are good but the lines are annoying, messy and the screen costd a fortune to replace.

I'd just like to say, thanks very much for your review Matt. Whilst new to participating on this forum, I have been reading forums for a long time and have really enjoyed constructive view points. In depth reviews are SO much more useful when considering purchasing a car. Whilst I had not read your review before purchasing my 335d, it would have surely contributed towards my placing a deposit (too) hastily with my local dealer.

Your review is thorough and imparts excitement to the reader of the process of 'getting to know a new car'. I would encourage others to place lengthy posts and not to worry about criticism from others - it seems the vast majority of users of this forum have the same objective and are most encouraging of others' comments.

I am very close to ordering an Evolve remap (as opposed to perhaps the market leader in remapping BMWs) as a result of reading your posts (and others on this forum). I've driven 1500 miles now in my 335d and may yet post some kind of review myself, from a different perspective. After my initial hesitation, my enthusiasm is growing rapidly for the motor (and the excellent auto box)... now I've learnt how to use it better.

Thanks mate. It means a lot to know that people enjoy reading my articles.

I agree with forums its scary to really post something which is so open to criticism, but at the end of the day the responses are as positive as they are negative - mostly positive to be honest.

I guess i have put some more controversial write ups on here and has less good stuff said, but hell, this is what i do - i get criticism from people who pay me to write and i dont let that bother me lol.

Will look forward to reading what you write also, and shame your not up here, would be good to get you to the northern meet ... Although its only an hour or two away mate!

I would certainly like very much to meet up with other forums members - an hour or two driving would be a plus. Right now, I'm working rather a lot having just taken on a aspect to my work, but later in the year hopefully things will cool off a bit. When is the Northern meet and has the whereabouts been published anywhere on the forum? Still learning to navigate my way around different threads currently!

I like controversy, so I like to hear cynical views - rarely are things black and white, particularly when it comes to cars. I love reading car magazines, though am finding views expressed on forums, especially from like minded individuals, more exciting to read. There are a lot of questions publications don't give answers to. Practical things like insurance premiums, how to connect certain phones etc.

To receive immediate responses and feedback achieved is great fun.

Have a look here- most meets will be 'stickied' at the top of the first page of the UK section.

Enjoy the forum.
