MW 228xi on Black OEM Wheels
Hey guys, picked up a 2016 228xi M Sport back in July. Right now the car is basically stock. Since taking these picks I've wrapped my grille with flat black vinyl to get rid of the ugly chrome, definitely a great alternative for anyone not looking to spend $120+ on the M Performance grille.
Anyways, I really like the way the black OEM wheels look. Gives the car a nice little flare over the plain silver wheels IMO. I also really like the way the Mineral White seems to change colors depending on the lighting. Definitely an underappreciated color if you ask me. It seems like everybody chooses to go with the AW over the MW but i guess its all just personal preference. |

No color pops the body lines better than Mineral White. None. With that said, photos rarely do the color justice. There's so much more depth in person. I love it.

Nice MW! I got my Mineral White 228i Convertible in August. I'm a big fan of the Mineral White and honestly never considered the Alpine. I still have yet to post a photos thread though and
also have yet to break it in as it has approx 1400 miles. p.s. Do you ever think you will change the wheels to Gloss Black. May look better to go with the class shadow line Msport trim on your car (to each their own tho). quick snap of my car:

i actually prefer the way the flat black looks. i plan on swapping them out for some HRE FF15s once i wear through these tires anyways so no point in messing with them.
your car should be broken in btw. break in period is 1200 miles. luckily my SA was cool enough to get me a free oil change when i hit the break in mark. |
