After I replaced the front control arms on my 335i (E90) to M3 ones, the straight line ride quality and handling has taken a negative hit. The road imperfections seem to have a much larger impact on the steering wheel to the point the feedback is overwhelming. It feels like I need to hold the steering wheel tighther or the road might turn it. The steering wheel also does not straighten itself when driving in a parking lot (~5mph).

The cornering capability of the car is now great, the car travels better when turning and there is more grip available.

I replaced the front + rear struts, coils and the 4 front control arms and 6 rear control arms but I did this in steps so that I did not replace the front wishbone (lower control arm) and rear toe arm until just before my alignment. So I did get to drive the car with the new suspension minus the M3 wishbone (which gives camber) and the car felt fine with good feedback. After the wishbone install and alignment the front feels off. I have got nearly -2 degree camber on the front now. Is what I am experiencing normal or has anyone else had this problem and resolved it? I really think all this is down to the M3 wishbone. I did torque everything at ride height but I will do it again for the wishbone (lower control arm) again.

As far as I'm aware the b8's should still be compatible with the slightly taller sport springs as far as length is concerned.
Does anyone know the oem sport spring rates?
Will this change the ride comfort much?
Also my car which is a diesel is at least 200lbs lighter than stock.

E91 330d Poor brake pedal after abs sensor change

Hi - I have a weird problem with my 2011 330d Touring.

Driving around today I got a load of warning lights for abs, DSC etc come on. On scanning the car I got a fault code for the rear right wheel speed sensor, implausible signal. Cleared the code and it would come straight back on driving.

I've replaced the rear right abs speed sensor now and cleared the code and it's gone and not come back.

However, I now have a terrible brake pedal -a bit of initial pressure and then it just goes away from under my foot. Maybe like air in the system, but I've been nowhere near the hydraulic side of the brakes, only the wheel speed sensor. I've not bled the brakes yet (I'm going to, obbviously, but to my mind, I shouldn't have to just for changing a wheel speed sensor.

I had wondered about the possibility of a failing ABS pump as I know that's a common problem but there are no fault codes or anything showing for that - it's presenting normally in the diagnostics.

Any thoughts welcome as I'm a bit stumped.
